Hello to my readers,
Thanks for taking the time to check this blog out. Starting today, I’ll be contributing thoughts and ideas about my partnership with AOR, my effort to be a great athlete, and drive to be the best person I can be.
You may only know me through this blog, or you may have heard of me via my exploits on the football field. Regardless, the reason I write here is because my drive to be a good person ended up putting me in touch with AOR. My path probably turned in that direction because I utilize supplements to support both my athletic and mental growth.
I take many AOR supplements at this point, but the one that got me started was Zen Theanine. Extracted from green tea, theanine has been shown to be helpful in reducing stress and increasing alpha brain waves, which are important to create a relaxed but focused mood. I find on the football field being relaxed is a key to my game. Interestingly, the effects of Zen Theanine are some of the positive effects of meditation as well. I utilize them both and I feel they work synergistically to promote relaxation and focus on gamedays. Why do you think Buddhist monks are always depicted drinking green tea?
Over time I’ll post more about getting ready for games, supplements, yoga, meditation, contemplation time, and workouts. I look forward to next time!
