Boerhavia diffusa is a species of flowering plant in the four o’clock family known as Punarnava, red spiderling, spreading hogweed or tarvine. This is an herb used in Ayurveda and other traditional medicines. Its most common use is for its anti-diabetic and diuretic properties. However, it also has been used for pain relief, as an anti-inflammatory and can help with indigestion.
