AOR Inc. Launches World First Carrageenan-Free Vegan Softgel
Combining Revolutionary Technology and Sustainable Ingredients.
VANCOUVER, B.C. – This February, at the Canadian Health Food Association’s (CHFA) annual trade show CHFA West, Advanced Orthomolecular Research (AOR) a leading provider of high quality nutraceuticals, launches the Eco Series, a World First achievement in carrageenan-free vegan softgels. In addition to the twelve products being the first vegan softgels available that are free of the controversial additive, carrageenan, each product is formulated for optimal nutritional delivery, maximum sensitivity to dietary concerns (religious or allergenic) and is produced using only recyclable material and environmentally sustainable ingredients.
“As a clinician I am always looking for the cleanest and most hypoallergenic products without compromising quality, stability and dosage. Compromising on all these points should not be an option,” says Dr. Paul Hrkal, AOR’s Medical Director, commenting on the importance of accessibility when it comes to vitamin and supplement formulations. This is why every product in the line is 100% vegan and safe for those with additional religious dietary restrictions.
Equally important to the Eco Series’s near-universal accessibility are the sustainable ingredients. Rather than using more common ingredients with larger ecological footprint, AOR took special care to source each product used in the Eco Series from sustainable sources, such as using Japanese knotweed in the place of red grapes when crafting our Resveratrol supplement. “Everyone wants to have non medical ingredients that are safe and clean, but most people don’t consider that these often come at a cost of environmental stability,” according to AOR’s Medical Director, Dr. Hrkal, “AOR’s Eco Series has achieved both ethical packaging and sourcing, clean non-medicinal ingredients, and effective doses. This trifecta of core values is actually a game changer for people serious about using the highest quality supplements that are also ecologically friendly”. AOR’s Eco Series features twelve products some of these include:
Lutein from naturally drought tolerant Marigold flowers, to wildcrafted Boswellia, to sustainably sourced Omega 3 and Vitamin D, to Resveratrol made from Japanese Knotweed, an invasive species that due to over growth would otherwise need to be controlled with toxic pesticides.
