Pro Bones contains all of the essential nutrients required for building healthy bones, including calcium, vitamin D, and magnesium. Pro Bones can benefit bone and joint health in those with or who are at risk of osteopenia, osteoporosis, and arthritis.

Pro Bones increases bone mass, improves bone growth quality, and reduces the risk of fractures. As a superior source of calcium, MCHC can slow bone loss and actually reverse it. Manganese is included to ensure the proper function of osteoblasts, vitamin K to regulate calcium and keep it within the bone, and glucosamine for joint and cartilage repair.

AOR Advantage

AOR’s MCHC is derived from New Zealand bovine bone: a pure extract sourced from pasture-fed, freerange livestock not subjected to routine antibiotics or recombinant bovine growth
hormone (rBGH). In accordance with the latest research, Pro Bones now also contains both MK-4 and MK-7 as sources of vitamin K2. A vegetarian glucosamine sulfate has also replaced the shellfish-sourced glucosamine HCl, making Pro Bones shellfish-free.

Pro Bones is a multi-nutrient combination designed to support bone health. It helps in the development and maintenance of teeth, cartilage and gums and helps in connective tissue formation, production and repair. It also aids in the maintenance of proper muscle function. Contains microcrystalline hydroxyapatite complex (MCHA), an extract of bovine bone derived from New Zealand pasture-fed, free-range livestock not subjected to routine antibiotics or rBGH. Calcium intake, when combined with sufficient vitamin D, a healthy diet, and regular exercise, may reduce the risk of developing osteoporosis.

AOR™ guarantees that all ingredients have been declared on the label. Contains no wheat, gluten, peanut, sulphite, mustard, dairy, eggs, nuts, or sesame seeds.

Capsule: hypromellose, hydroxypropylcellulose.

Calcium: Ossein microcrystalline hydroxyapatite complex (MCHC) has been studied for over 30 years in double-blind, controlled clinical trials as the best calcium source for bone building and maintenance. It can halt and even reverse bone loss attributable to osteoporosis.

Vitamin D3: Important in the absorption of calcium, vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) is the active form of vitamin D.

Vitamin K2: Pro Bones features a 50/50 blend of both MK-4 and MK-7 forms of vitamin K2. Doses of 60 mcg of MK-7 have been shown to significantly activate osteocalcin and keep it out of soft tissue. MK-4 has been successfully used for bone health for decades and is the primary form found in the human body.

Magnesium has been shown to slow the rate of bone turnover. Magnesium shortages result in reduced assimilation of vitamin D, and the inhibition of parathyroid hormone, leading to low blood calcium levels.

Boron reduces urinary excretion of both calcium and magnesium.

Zinc, copper, and manganese have been identified as cofactors for enzymes involved in bone metabolism.

Vitamin C enhances collagen production in the bones, providing more sites for calcium to adhere to.

Glucosamine helps maintain and build healthy joint tissue. Glucosamine produces glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) which is required for joint and cartilage repair. Glucosamine is also used for the formation of hyaluronic acid – a central component of the synovial fluid within joints.
