Pro GI Calm includes the botanical ingredients Boswellia serrata, Withania somnifera (ashwagandha), and ginger, with vitamin D3. Specialized digestive enzymes are included to increase the breakdown of gluten, and the probiotic yeast Saccharomyces boulardii reduces the risk of antibiotic-associated diarrhea.

Pro GI Calm can be used to reduce GI inflammation related to IBD, and prevent the exacerbation symptoms of IBD and celiac disease. As well, it can help reduce psychological stress levels involved with managing chronic GI inflammatory conditions.

Most enzyme formulations provide inadequate support for people with IBD or celiac disease because they fail to provide the specific enzymes needed in the digestive tract of these patients. AN-peptidases, which are a source of DPP-IV, help break down gluten and other proline-rich proteins.




Pro GI Calm is traditionally used in Herbal medicine to help relieve digestive upset/disturbances including lack of appetite, nausea, digestive spasms, indigestion, dyspepsia and flatulent colic. Pro GI Calm contains digestive enzymes that help digest proteins and a probiotic that forms part of a natural healthy gut flora and helps reduce the risk of antibiotic-associated diarrhea.

Adult Dosage

Take three capsules daily or two capsules twice daily with meals of your choice, or as directed by a qualified health care practitioner.


Do not use if you have an immune-compromised condition (e.g. AIDS, lymphoma, patients undergoing long-term corticosteroid treatment), or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have gastrointestinal lesions/ulcers, are taking anticoagulant agents, anti-inflammatory agents or other enzyme products, are having surgery, or if you have nausea, fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhea or severe abdominal pain. Consult a health care practitioner for prolonged use. Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if symptoms (e.g. digestive upset, diarrhea) occur, worsen, or persist beyond three days. Hypersensitivity/allergy has been known to occur in which case discontinue use. Consumption with alcohol, other drugs or natural health products with sedative properties is not recommended. This product contains corn, do not use if you have such allergies.

Ginger is well known for its ability to relieve digestive upset including nausea and intestinal cramps. It has proven anti-inflammatory properties and can improve intestinal motility.

 Saccharomyces boulardii

This probiotic yeast is beneficial for reducing inflammation and infection in the intestinal tract as a result of microbial imbalance. In addition to preventing antibiotic-associated diarrhea, studies suggest it can reduce inflammation and support remission in IBD.
