A systematic review on the cardiovascular pharmacology of Melica officinalis Gaertn. 

This systematic review of clinical trials evaluating the effect of Amla on cardiovascular pharmacology was published in 2018. It included 19 cell culture, animal and human clinical studies with the terms “antioxidant, arrhythmia, cardioprotective, cardiotoxicity, heart disease, heart failure, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, myocardial dysfunction and oxidative stress”.
