From 2016, this randomized controlled clinical trial, included patients with dyspepsia from peptic ulcer disease or non-ulcer dyspepsia and a positive rapid urease test (which is used to detect H pylori). The group given DGL showed significantly greater therapeutic response (negative H pylori test) compared to the control group (83.8% vs 62.5%, respectively).
