Our Story
Advanced Orthomolecular Research (AOR) has created first in the world, one-of-a-kind, evidence-based formulas for over 30 years. As part of this, AOR has partnered with over 30+ universities worldwide to research and develop award-winning nutritional supplements.
Back in the 1990s, AOR founder Dr. Traj Nibber spotted a need for filler-free, therapeutic-grade vitamin and mineral supplements. His clean compounding approach caught the attention of AIDS patients who sought a means to maximize and prolong their lifespan. Dr. Nibber began compounding nutrient standalones like high dose vitamin C and zinc, CoQ10 and glutathione for these patients. He compounded these medicines free of charge for 4 years and was a champion for this highly stigmatized and marginalized market. This commitment to people over profit forged the foundation of the future.
By 1992 Dr. Nibber had become enamored with nutritional medicine and decided to create his own line Holistic International Inc. to serve as both a manufacturer and distributor of premium nutraceuticals. When double Noble Prize winner Linus Pauling coined the term ‘orthomolecular’, which means “the right molecule in the right dose, at the right place, at the right time.” – Dr. Nibber chose to rename the company – Advanced Orthomolecular Research Inc. aka AOR.
To this day, it is AOR’s mission to transform scientific research into safe, evidence based natural health products that empower people to lead their best lives.
