We are proud to have received a silver badge from Greenly. Greenly’s carbon management platform helps companies measure, monitor and reduce their carbon footprint. The silver badge recognizes our environmental transparency and our will to understand the depth of our emissions sources. It showcases that we have completed an environmental assessment, are involving the whole company in actions to reduce our emissions, and are actively seeking ways to achieve net zero to better the health of our planet.

Here’s how we’re making a difference:
PCR (Post Consumer Resin) Packaging
Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in our packaging choices. In 2019, we began converting our bottles to PCR (post-consumer resin) to minimize waste and reduce our environmental footprint. This packaging choice is designed to protect the integrity of our products while being kind to the planet.
PCR bottles are made from recycled plastic materials that have been used and discarded by consumers, then collected, cleaned and reprocessed into new packaging. PCR bottles help reduce environmental impacts by minimizing the need for virgin plastic, lowering greenhouse gas emissions and diverting waste from landfills. They support sustainability goals and are made for direct food contact and can be used in the packaging of many foods, beverage, vitamin, medicine and personal care products.
We are continuously exploring innovative packaging solutions to further reduce our impact.
Carbon Accounting and Achieving Net Zero
We are dedicated to reducing our carbon footprint and have implemented measures to achieve carbon neutrality. We enlisted a carbon accounting platform to track our progress, to quantitively understand where in our operations we can improve our processes to better the planet. From exploring renewable energy sources to optimizing our supply chain logistics, we are committed to making changes that minimize our greenhouse gas emissions.
Employee Training
Knowledge is power and together we can drive positive change for our planet. All AOR team members have access to training resources that explore how individual actions impact the environment. From courses on water conservation, biodiversity and waste diversion, to electricity production and the environmental issues of food – we hope to educate everyone at AOR to make choices that benefit their own health and that of the planet.
