N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine or N-A-C, is an acetylated form of the amino acid cysteine. Cysteine is the most important precursor to glutathione (GSH), the most critical antioxidant produced in the body.
Acetylated cysteine is better absorbed than regular cysteine.
