From Citrus aurantium
Bioflavonoids are powerful antioxidants in their own right, they are even more powerful when combined with vitamin C. Bioflavonoids, or simply flavonoids, are the pigments found in most plants that give fruits and vegetables their color. The three most notable are hesperidin, naringenin and eriocitrin.
They are potent antioxidants that work together with vitamin C to enhance its antioxidant properties by keeping it active longer.
