MaxMethyl contains some methylated B vitamins: vitamin B6, vitamin B12, folate and trimethylglycine (TMG).
TMG is composed of the amino acid glycine and three methyl groups. Recently, it was discovered that a large portion of the population has a mutation of the gene MTHFR, which prevents them from converting folate into its usable form, L-5-MTHF. Â This leads to folate deficiency and decreased methylation, resulting in high homocysteine levels.

Adult Dosage
Take one capsule three times daily with or without food, or as directed by a qualified health care practitioner.
Cautions
Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or if you have liver or cardiovascular disease.
Stop use of Vitamin B6 products and ask a healthcare practitioner if you develop symptoms of sensory nerve problems, such as numbness, tingling, or pain in the extremities.*
*Please note that your label may not contain the vitamin B6 caution, as this is a recent update issued from Health Canada. We are in the process of updating all product labels containing 10 mg or more/day of vitamin B6 to reflect this.
