Longvida ® Curcumin
Longvida® is based on Solid Lipid Curcumin Particle (SLCP™) technology. This consists of a unique combination of highly purified lipids that coat the micronized curcumin particles. This is different from a micelle, as there are lipids other than just lecithin involved. This combination of minute particles is organized in such a way as to increase bioavailability and absorption, and remarkably avoid rapid breakdown.
The Longvida® curcumin technology allows it to deliver absorbable curcumin to targeted areas. This curcumin formulation successfully evades rapid breakdown by the liver and produces Free Form Curcumin, peer-reviewed clinical trials prove this. Anti-inflammatory

Longvida® Optimized Curcumin is not produced using solvents such as ethylene dichloride (EDC) and it does not contain surfactants such as polysorbate 80/Tween 80, nor adulterant such as nimesulide. Although the use of polysorbate 80 is considered acceptable in North America, it is banned or strictly controlled in countries such as Japan, China, Taiwan and Thailand. Longvida® Optimized Curcumin is also free from volatile oil and animal products, it is certified gluten-free, GMO-free and meets or exceeds the highest standards in terms of the presence of heavy metals.
